1. Why Cancel? Resell - The biggest benefit of a secondary marketplace for tokenized rooms is that when traveler has to cancel his travel plans, they can instead resell their booking instead of paying a cancellation fee. This way it becomes a possible money making opportunity for the travellers rather than a painful one.

2. Missed, Lost or spurious hotel booking - Many a times travellers do come across a situation where their specific hotel booking is not available on the hotel systems and hotel doesn't permit you to checkin until the travel agent you dealt with sends across a confirmation again. Imagine landing at 10pm with 2 toddlers and a business meeting next day and you are waiting for the travel agent to pick up his phone, so you could check-in into the hotel for which you already paid! With blockchain tech, any entity hotel, guest, travel agent, tour operator can confirm and validate the state of booking, as long as they are able to prove the ownership of the unique NFT. No more missing bookings, no more waiting for travel agent to sort your issues out!

3. Easy 3rd party integration - Our system will be open for the developer ecosystem to participate. Which means anyone with a unique idea who can capitalise or improve guest experience can build and provide newer solutions for travellers. Example: Integrated KYC solution, blockchain based loyalty point integration with stay, DID based no-contact self check-in, NFT based door access, NFT ownership as proof for all ancillary(restaurant, spa, etc) sends in the property, integrated crypto payment at property for ancillaries, stay-verified reviews from past travellers(no more mind getting swayed by fake ratings and reviews).

4. Why be specific, Explore - We all have friends who are indecisive. And family where everyone has an opinion of their own of where to travel - Singapore, New York or Bali. While as a planner you know that every day lost is money spent extra on hotel bookings. Instead of zeroing-in on one place to make your bookings, with Buk you can make bookings for top 3 places(cash permitting), and squat on them until everyone finalises and if the dates are premium, you could actually make some squatting on premium dates of travel. And who knows the trip might self sponsor itself with the extra cash you made with the reselling of the bookings of locations where you didn't actually travel.

5. Auction, Bid & Reverse auctions - Tokenized room bookings create newer user journeys and decision making processes. For the flexible traveler, they could use tools as available on OpenSea with bidding and auctioning the room bookings, super easily. And who knows what other format comes up very soon.

6. Tokenized additions - Ever wanted to buy that 15th floor room, but you could never buy a specific room in your regular booking site? Tokenized additions are additional attributes that can be added to your existing booking - Want to add a breakfast, want to add a room close to elevator, want to rebook the corner room where you enjoyed your honeymoon, its possible now to book by specific attribute of the room or the room number(hotels permitting). Just like adding a Ruby NFT to the Mythical sword NFT in your favourite game, you can now buy tokenized attributes and merge them up to make your experience even better.

7. Break booking & sell it - Planned for 5 days of travel, but have to cut short your travel to 3 days? No problem. As long as you are aware of your change in plans before our trade-able date cut-off, a 5 day booking can be broken down to 3 + 2, 4 + 1 or any other combination you choose. You pay for the ones you plan to use, and sell the ones that you will not be using, independently without interaction with a travel agent or a hotel!

8. Transfer to non-crypto F&F - We know how challenging it can be for a non-crypto traveller to use NFTs and tokens. If you have a friend of family for whom you are booking, you will always be able to "checkin the Room-night" for them with their name and details. Making non-crypto users also enjoy stay and functionality of a tokenized booking.

9. No more ambiguity of hotel room types - We all know how all the booking engines act smart with a Low Price guarantee, but change the name of the room on their portal, making it impossible to compare same rooms across different booking engines. Now all room details will be encoded in the NFT directly(provided by hotel) and a smart user can always verify if the room type he is buying is the same one being sold on a different site at a different price.

10. Cancellation refunds - Every one of us is aware of how painful canceling a travel plan is. Its expensive and cumbersome with multiple interactions with hotels or bookings agents or both to accommodate our requests. With tokenized inventory cancellation rules are super transparent and on-chain refund, only transact-able by the owner of the NFT and not the customer care.
